The show must go on! And that means the clothes must come off!
Season five production on Game of Thrones hit a bit of a snag last week when the church where they film said NO to nudity.
If this were any old random nude scene (of which GoT has a LOT) it wouldn’t matter, but the upcoming Cersei Lannister naked walk of shame is actually pretty important to the plot.
Luckily, they’ve come to an arrangement.
The Church Of St. Nicholas will allow the crew to film Lena Headey in the nude OUTSIDE as long as she doesn’t set naked foot in the building.
Then production will fill in the interior parts of the scene on a set made to look like the Dubrovnik location.
Win/win! Just like the agreement between the Starks and the Freys! Er, let’s just hope it ends better than that one.
