Gap, one of the world’s largest retail chains, has their sights on expanding, but first they will give their current territory some tweaks to drive up sales.
Gap plans to sell their casual clothing online for those who live across the pond in the UK and our neighbors up north in Canada. By allowing the UK and Canada to make purchases online, the company hopes it will lead to opening a store in China.
The retailer is also heading back to the small screen in the US with those catchy commercials slated to air in November after a two year hiatus.
We love the Gap commercials! Especially the music and a dancing Audrey Hepburn!
Sister stores Old Navy and Banana Republic will also see some changes.
Old Navy, who has seen some improvement with sales will open 50 smaller size stores by the end of the year while Banana Republic will ease up on being so focused on “work attire”.
Hopefully they’ll see some improvement with these new changes!
