Lots of people were touched when they saw this video of this random act of kindness!
Although we do use the word “random” very lightly.
A garbage truck driver’s route brought him down to Daniel Mulligan‘s house in Ojai, California where he noticed the 5-year-old boy liked to imitate his truck’s movements when picking up the trash.
Well, the driver Manuel Sanchez decided to give the little guy a gift, a model of the truck he loved, and the the touching gesture really did make us cry!
After the parents of the autistic child shot the video they sent it to the organization Autism Speaks who then made it available for all of the world…
…And all of the world is loving it!!
Sanchez’s company said they are honored to have the driver as their employee, and that the man bought the gift using his own money. For his part, Sanchez said:
“That little boy is so special, and he will steal anybody├óΓé¼Γäós heart as soon as you see him. I didn├óΓé¼Γäót know what he has, but there├óΓé¼Γäós something very special about him.”
And there’s something special about you, Mr. Sanchez!
The world would be a better place with more people like you in it!!
