According to Access Hollywood, famed director and producer Garry Marshall has passed away at 81.

Marshall will be remembered as a Hollywood icon who directed hit films such as Pretty Woman, Runaway Bride, Valentine’s Day, New Year’s Eve, Mother’s Day, and The Princess Diaries. He also created the TV series Happy Days, and developed The Odd Couple from Neil Simon‘s 1965 play.
He had three kids with wife Barbara Marshall, and his sister was actress Penny Marshall.
