In his latest will, Gary Coleman left detailed instructions for his funeral.
The actor requested to be cremated and discussed the people he did NOT want at his wake.
Gary wanted only “those who have no financial ties to me and who can look each other in the eyes and say they really cared personally for Gary Coleman.”
The will adds, “I direct my personal representative to permit no members of the press to be present at my wake or funeral.”
Former manager Dion Mial is executor of his estate, which gives him the right to assess the value of assets and be paid out according to a trust. Although Gary’s only asset was his $315,000 Utah home.
“Before anyone gets paid, his medical and funeral bills have to be covered first,” said Mial’s attorney Kent Alderman. “Whatever’s left after that will be distributed according to his trust.”
Mial’s biggest concern is that Gary’s ex-wife Shannon Price “has been removing personal property from [Coleman’s] home which has not been inventoried or accounted for.”
We’re not surprised. Sad.
