And rightly so!
The Human Rights Campaign says that Kobe Bryant├óΓé¼Γäós homophobic slander (calling a ref, ├óΓé¼┼ôfucking f**got) “perpetuates a culture of discrimination and hate” and noted that what he said was ├óΓé¼┼ôhorribly offensive.├óΓé¼┬¥
Said a spokesperson for the group:
“What a disgrace for Kobe Bryant to use such horribly offensive and distasteful language, especially when millions of people are watching.”
He continued:
“Hopefully Mr. Bryant will recognize that as a person with such fame and influence, the use of such language not only offends millions of LGBT people around the world, but also perpetuates a culture of discrimination and hate that all of us, most notably Mr. Bryant, should be working to eradicate.”
We don’t simply want an apology for what he said, we want a CHANGE in his behavior. He obviously lacks some self-control if he resorts to that sort of hatred after getting a foul!
