The story just got even better!
You know how we told you about the straight High School student who invited his gay best friend to prom??
Well, Anthony Martinez & Jacob Lescenski (the gay/straight couple in question) were invited to guest star on Ellen DeGeneres‘ talk show on Wednesday, and she brought their love story to a whole ‘nother level!
That’s because after hearing about how Jacob asked Anthony to prom, she gifted each student a scholarship for college.

Talk about a graduation present! (Okay, they’re both Juniors, but still.)
Also, it’s totally adorable how nervous they both are being on TV for the first time.
