Uh Oh! We hear trouble…
Many gay rights organizations are up in arms in germany when they found out that a pair of male vultures was split up in order to force them to be heterosexual.
It all started back in March, when Guido and Detlef started their homemaking together. Showing no interest in female company, they built a nest, and would groom one another.
Last week Guido was removed form the zoo and replaced with a female vulture from the Czech Republic in order to promote mating.
Detlef and his new female companion have yet to bond. Also, since both Detlef and Guido were 14 years old, it is unsure if they will even be up for mating.
I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens. Maybe they were meant to be together!
