Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King have been besties since…well, forever.
But Gayle’s all grown up now and leaving OWN to make another station her own.
The last episode of The Gayle King Show will air Thursday. After that, if you wanna see the gal, tune in to the Early Show on CBS!
Yep, she landed a prime career spot! But no worries in the friendship arena. The split was an amicable one.
OWN’s presidents Sheri Salata and Erik Logan say:
We are so happy for Gayle’s opportunity of a lifetime. She├óΓé¼Γäóll be a fantastic host for the new morning show on CBS and we wish her all the best. Although her show will not continue on OWN, we look forward to her joining us from time-to-time as her schedule allows.
