Uh-oh! Gayle King is NOT playing around!
A few months back, she was sued by a woman known as Orly the Matchmaker, over claims that Gayle promised her an appearance on Oprah in return for her service, which normally costs $500,000, and it never panned out!
However, now the Big O’s BFF has filed new documents in California federal court, requesting that the lawsuit be thrown out, because the state law asserts that oral contracts, which Orly cites as their main form of agreement, involving ‘dating services’ are “void and unenforceable!”
Ouch!
We guess we’ll find out if a judge agrees during the hearing in January!
