George Clooney may have lost a Keibler but he just won a Kubrick!
Only a day after the announcement of his break up from Stacy Keibler, Georgie got some good news this morning: he will be the recipient of the The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles’s Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film.
Dayum! What a mouthful!
This is the highest accolade that BAFTA gives out to individuals who they say exhibit:
“…the indelible mark of authorship and commitment, and who has lifted the craft to new heights.”
Umm├óΓé¼┬ªcommitment? There are quite a few ladies who might take issue with Clooney’s commitment skills.
Still, the Oscar-winning actor/director/writer/producer has proven himself time and time again to be one of Hollywood’s GREATEST talents! No one could be more deserving of this award than him.
The ceremony honoring George will take place in November. We wonder who will be his date that night???
