So sad to hear.
George Coe passed away on Saturday of natural causes at the age of 86.
If you don’t know the name, you probably know the face. Besides being a member of the original cast of Saturday Night Live in 1975, the Oscar nominee also guest starred on Star Trek, The West Wing, Gilmore Girls, and just about every TV show ever.
A talented voice actor, George could also be heard in video games like Skyrim and cartoons like The Legend Of Korra.
But in his most recent years, he was best known for his role as put-upon butler Woodhouse on FX‘s Archer.
Some of his cartoon costars mourned the loss on Twitter, writing:
