Weird that we have never noticed this before! It’s all we can see now!
Gerard Butler revealed to Men’s Journal Magazine that as a child, he had ear surgery that left him with a mangled ear. He apparently never really noticed the extent of the damage until he had to shave his head for his role in the Tomb Raider sequel opposite Angelina Jolie. He explains:
“Everyone went, ‘Holy fuck, one ear sticks out way more than the other one!’ And we literally had to glue it back.”
Aw! We bet that sucked!
Along with the deformity, Gerard also has a hard time hearing in that ear and the condition is the cause of his crooked smile.
We do love that crooked smile! A consolation we suppose!
