Geri Horner may not be recording songs with GEM anytime soon, but she’ll step in the recording booth for another old friend: George Michael.
The former Spice Girl has released a brand new song Angels in Chains in memory of her late friend.
The heartbreaking ballad is produced by Chris Porter, who worked with the music icon for over 30 years, as well as featuring musicians Michael regularly recorded with.

The songstress said she was nine-months pregnant and “full of emotions” when hearing of George’s passing, and could only put her feelings into song. After working with Michael’s longtime collaborators, that song became Angels in Chains.
