If you don’t think sportsmanship is alive and well, then you’re dead wrong!! Just take a look at this recent matchup between german soccer clubs Bremen and Nuremberg!
Aaron Hunt was making a strong run for the goal when he suddenly tripped! But just as the ref was about to call a penalty, he ran over and let him know it was not his opponent’s fault and that he simply lost his footing, and he turned down the chance for a free penalty kick!
And that wasn’t the only act of kindness during this game! Earlier in the match, Hiroshi Kiyotake turned down a corner kick and told the ref he was the last one to touch the ball, giving possession back to his opponents!
Talk about an awesome display of sportsmanship!!
