He was too young… way too young…
Last week, Henry “Hank” Deutschendorf — who played Baby Oscar in Ghostbusters II alongside his twin brother William — committed suicide by hanging at his home in Escondido, CA.
According to the medical examiner, the 29-year-old was discovered by his twin who unsuccessfully tried to rescue him.

TMZ reports the actor suffered from schizoaffective disorder, which is a combination of bipolar disorder and schizophrenia where one can experience hallucinations and depression. He reportedly “fought for his life every day.”
After starring in the hit blockbuster, Hank ran a martial arts school, and also appeared in the 2017 documentary Cleanin’ Up the Town: Remembering Ghostbusters.
Our thoughts go out to Deutschendorf’s friends and family during this difficult time.
