Paul Feig may have taken the challenge of a Ghostbusters reboot as an opportunity to put some funny female heroes on the big screen — but it seems like the toys are trying to stay cootie-free or something.
As toys tying into the July 15 flick hit shelves last week, fans started noticing something.

While there ARE action figures of the leads — a Rey or Black Widow situation would have been impossible given the all-female cast — the packaging on the other toys is a little disconcerting…
You guessed it! No girls on the packaging!

Yep, no icky girls in sight!
It appears even though the heroes are women, the target demo for the toys is still little boys. Because heaven forbid a girl actually want to look up to a blockbuster movie character!
