Gigi Hadid & Zayn Malik ARE Back Together!

OK, this is real, y’all. Zigi Part II. Or is it Part III at this point?

Almost from the moment Gigi Hadid ended her inadvertently high profile relationship with Bachelorette contestant Tyler Cameron, there have been hints of a reconciliation with ex Zayn Malik.

First it was Instagram likes starting in November, then delicious hints on social media became stepping out together in January, as the former (???) couple were spotted out and about in New York City with Bella Hadid and Dua Lipa for Zayn’s 27th birthday celebration.

The question hung in the air — is it just exes being friendly or are they really doing this thing again?

Well, according to a new source spilling to Us Weekly, it’s real — and it’s been going on behind the scenes for THREE MONTHS! The insider spilled:

“They got back together very recently. They have been trying to make it work for three months but it has been slow and steady.”

Wow! They really are OTP, aren’t they?

Zayn and Gigi first got together around November 2015, per reports at the time, though they saved the confirmation for a few months — enough time to make the One Direction alum’s famously sexy Pillowtalk video, in which he and supermodel basically make out in high definition for three minutes.

There were breakup rumors, engagement rumors, so much drama.

Eventually the end was more straightforward than all that, with Zayn confirming the breakup on Twitter:

“Gigi and I had an incredible meaningful, loving and fun relationship and I have a huge amount of respect and adoration for Gigi as a woman and a friend. She has such an incredible soul. I’m grateful to all of our fans for respecting this difficult decision and our privacy at this time, we wish this news could have come from us first. We love you all. xZ”

As Gigi simultaneously shared:

“Breakup statements often seem impersonal because there is really no way to put into words what two people experience together over a few years .. not only in the relationship, but in life in general. I’m forever grateful for the love, time, and life lessons that Z and I shared. I want nothing but the best for him and will continue to support him as a friend that I have immense respect and love for. As for the future, whatever’s meant to be will always be. xG”

However, that break did not take. Just a month later, they were spotted kissing in NYC!

They never confirmed they were back together, saying they didn’t want to put a label on it, but they were pretty obviously a couple again. At least for another few months.

In January 2019, Zigi ended not with a bang but with a whimper as multiple sources reported they were taking time apart as they were “in different points in their lives.”

So… maybe they’re at the same point in their lives finally? We’ll keep you updated!
