Gigli: Part 2

Matt Damon had a lot to celebrate this weekend. His latest Bourne film, Bourne Ultimatum, took in a very impressive 70.1 million in the U.S. box office. That’s the biggest debut by far of all three films. The first opened to $27 mill in 2002 and the second debuted with $53 mill in 2004.

The Simpsons continued to do well, taking in another $25.6 million at the box office – good enough for a second place finish. The film has now taken in more than $125 million!

And Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony‘s passion project, El Cantante, debuted at #12 with $2.9 million. The film was in limited release so hopefully (for them) it will platform out and do better.
