On Wednesday, Gina Rodriguez revealed that she has honestly, truthfully shaved her head! The Jane the Virgin star has officially parted ways with the long, luscious locks we see on The CW.
Now, the gorgeous gal is rocking an edgier look for her role in the upcoming movie Annihilation, which also stars Oscar Isaac and Natalie Portman.

The acclaimed actress shared a shot on Instagram of her new ‘do, which features a shaved side and a much shorter length.

The 31-year-old first surprised us on Sunday when she chopped her beautiful tresses into a short style, posting this pic of the new cut (below):

But that look didn’t last long, because Miz Rodriguez hit up Twitter early Wednesday morning to reveal that she had actually shaved her head, writing:

And for anyone still thinking it’s somehow not real, Gina cleared that right up! A fan commented on the cut, posting:
