Just heartbreaking.
A 12-year-old girl has died after falling from the 17th floor of an apartment building in Russia. The youngster, identified as Oksana B., fell to her death after apparently posing for a dangerous selfie in the city of Perm.
Before her tragic passing, the schoolgirl had written a message on social media to one of her best friends, gushing about how close they are.

She had also sent a pic to her BFF, who noticed that the picture appeared to be taken from a precarious position.
The friend got anxious and tried to call Oksana, but the girl didn’t answer. So, she sent the photo to her mother.
Sadly, the preteen had already fallen from the building, and onlookers had reported her devastating death to the police, after seeing her body on the sidewalk.
The authorities then informed the girl’s mom. Before she died, Oksana had told her mom she was going for a walk, which is when she made her way up to the 17th floor.
Police believe she fell after losing her balance while sitting on a handrail.
Oksana’s uncle took to social media to mourn the untimely loss of his niece, posting:
“She was such a friendly girl. She was a good pupil, she had no problems at school. She took dance classes and English classes. She had so much to live for and now she has lost her life to the craze of looking to do extreme selfies for social media. There can be no other reason why she climbed over the damned handrail.”
