A Girl Scout troop in Texas and their mother helped stop some shoplifters!
Did they pelt the thieves with cookies until they gave up?
Nope, they were just being aware of their surroundings and watching a shady character.
The girls noticed a man being really suspicious at an HEB grocery store, pushing around a cart of products, pushing his cart into a corner, almost trying to hide from the girls.
They eventually watched as he wheeled his cart across the parking lot to his car.
By then they were pretty sure he had been shoplifting so they told an HEB employee.
The HEB store service director said the troop was right to be suspicious, the man and an accomplice had stolen around $2,000 worth of stuff!
The HEB director called the cops and had the men arrested.
As a thank you? The store bought dozens of boxes of girl scout cookies! That’s so wonderful!
