Giuliana And Bill Reveal The Name Of Chi-Town Restaurant

Giuliana Rancic and hubby Bill have unveiled the name of their new restaurant.
The name…RPM Italian!
The new name is based off the partners of the restaurant. R for Rancics, P for chef Doug Psaltis, and M for R.J. and Molly Melman.
This is a mild shocker as Mama DePandi was a popular choice due to Giuliana’s mother’s famed cooking skills.
Giuliana explained the name choice, saying:

As we got further into the planning for the restaurant, we realized that the name Mama DePandi’s felt more Old World Italian, and this restaurant is anything but,” says Giuliana. “We are very excited to be this close to the opening and can’t wait for Chicago to experience the delicious food that Doug has been creating for the menu.

The E! News host is busy designing stylish uniforms and preparing menus with Psaltis.
The restaurant opens in January 2012.
And don’t worry, Mama DePandi’s dishes will be a BIG part of the menu.
