Glee Season 5 Premiere May Be Postponed Till November Following Cory Monteith's Passing

Gleeks, while you continue to mourn the loss of beloved Cory Monteith, the powers that be are in the midst of discussing the future of Glee and what the show will look like without its Finn Hudson.

Sources are reporting that it seems very likely that the show will not return to the air until November.

While Fox execs met yesterday to begin discussions regarding the show’s fifth season, a source revealed that the production’s September 19th premiere date might be pushed back about a month “to let everyone breathe.”

We’re assuming major rewrites will have to take place, especially given the fact that Finn was meant to be heavily featured in the fifth season’s already-written first two episodes.

Though we’re nowhere near over the loss, we truly hope that whatever Fox officials ultimately decide is best for all those involved.
