It’s taking all our restraint right now to contain our excitement over this announcement. We’ve missed this person terribly ever since last season, especially since we always felt their storyline never got the closure they deserved.

Alright, where were we? Oh yes! The person who is returning to Glee at the end of this season is…
Jonathan Groff!!!
Strike up the band! Cue the 76 trombones! No one can rain on this happy parade right now! (Also, if you were hoping we were going to say Idina Menzel, apologies, but we’re waiting for her return too.)
Sources have just confirmed that Jonathan, who played Jesse St. James last year, will be back at the end of the season for, wait for it…. 3 WHOLE EPISODES! AAAAAH-MMAZING!
Sources added that the deal has already been closed and that Jon should be filming shortly. No real plot details were revealed about his return, save for this:
“He├óΓé¼Γäós back to apologize to Rachel…and perhaps get her back.├óΓé¼┬¥
Oh. Em. GLEE! Finally, the storyline we’ve been waiting for! Seriously, don’t even act like you weren’t PISSED when Jesse all of sudden decided he was over our beloved Lea Michele and cracked a big ole nasty egg on her head and destroyed her heart. Now, we’ll finally get to hear him explain himself and mend all those still festering wounds. Wonder how Rachel will respond to his return?!
Hmm. Did anyone else hear that thud noise? Oh, must be the sound of hundreds of Finchel fans dropping to the ground in anguish! It’s on!!!
