Glee has nothing to be happy about in the wake of Cory Monteith‘s tragic passing, but they do have to figure out the fate of the show.
Rumor has it, Glee‘s writers have called an emergency meeting today to figure out how to work Finn Hudson out of the story.
This comes days after we heard the execs locked their own doors to discuss the show’s direction.
A source close to production revealed:
├óΓé¼┼ôGlee is definitely not canceled. If you look at the dollars and cents of the show and that it was very much an ensemble with new kids being added last year when some graduated. It├óΓé¼Γäós clear that the show wasn├óΓé¼Γäót about one character.”
The source adds:
“The producers and writers are taking time to meet and figure out how to best address this situation in the context of Glee. No decision has been reached about a script yet, as it├óΓé¼Γäós still early.”
We think these alleged conversations are going to be put on hold anyway, especially to give everyone sufficient time to grieve!
We are still in total shock over this tragedy.
