We can’t say for sure whether Today fans are flocking over to Good Morning America because they’re disappointed with Matt Lauer for throwing Ann Curry under a moving train but we do know that fans ARE leaving!
Savannah Guthrie and Matt’s official welcome party was Monday morning and the ratings, as it turns out, were quite surprising.
GMA crushed Today in both the key 24-54 demographic and in overall viewers!
This is GMA’s first Monday win in both categories in OVER FIVE YEARS!
Let’s be frank — the Savannah and Matt show is off to a disastrous start!
Still, they’re talented news-anchors. We’re curious to see when and how the duo can rebound!
