Here we go again!
Reports continue to swirl that Madonna is desperate to adopt a second child from Malawi, this time a little girl.
Her Madgesty allegedly wants to adopt a two year-old girl named Mercy James. The little girl’s mother died during childbirth and she lives in an orphanage.
However, the child’s family has said they are “not interested” in having Madonna adopt the baby.
WTF?!? The girl is an orphan and lives in an ORPHANAGE yet her family doesn’t want her to get the best life possible and be adopted?
Apparently, Madonna tried to push the adoption through last year, but Mercy’s uncle blocked it.
Uhm, so why doesn’t her uncle adopt her????
Madonna reportedly tried again to adopt her in May by sending aides to speak to her family. However, they were only going to agree to it if Mercy was returned to them at six years old.
The girl’s grandmother (why doesn’t she adopt her either?) has said “When Mercy is no longer a baby we want her back. I do not want the money they said they’d give me.”
This is still sounding a bit crazy to us.
So they wanted Madge to “rent” the girl?
M’s process of adopting David Banda took about two years.
Let’s hope this adoption doesn’t take as long!
P.S. Why doesn’t she pick a country where where foreign adoptions are easier??????
