Its a historic night at the 2016 Golden Globes!
Son of Saul marks only the third film hailing from Hungary nominated for Best Foreign Film!
And it looks like third time’s a charm, because the Holocaust drama landed the country the award for the first time EVER!
The film beat out Chile’s The Club, Estonia’s The Fencer, Colombia’s Mustang, and Belgium/France/Luxembourg’s The Brand New Testament!
Ch-ch-check out director L├â┬íszl├â┬│ Nemes‘s touching speech (above)!
And don’t forget to check out the ongoing winners list HERE!
