Talk about falling with style!
Google once again proved its dominion over planet Earth as one of its execs, Alan Eustace, took a balloon near to the very tippy top of the stratosphere Friday.
The senior vice president at Google reached an altitude of over 25 miles, and as he descended, he reached speeds that maxed out at 822 miles per hour, thus breaking the sound barrier.
Two years ago Felix Baumgartner set the world altitude record reaching a height of 128,100 feet on October 14th, 2012.
Alan’s height? Roughly 135,890 feet. He returned to earth 15 minutes after he began his descent 70 miles away from his launch point.
