Exciting!
For a while now, Google had been teasing plans for a music store, and now it’s finally happening!
Google’s music store will open tomorrow, and the company is VERY close to signing a major deal with Universal Music Group! Awesome!
Thus far, Google’s already made deals with EMI Group, and independent music organization Merlin Network, which is the fifth-largest music label in the world!
No word yet on whether Sony Music Entertainment and Warner Music Group are onboard with Google’s new service, but we suppose we’ll find out more tomorrow.
Sounds like Google will 100% definitely be opening their store on Wednesday whether or not they’ve secured deals with all the major labels!
