Have you already hidden your Facebook wall because too many creepy people were scoping it out? Well, very soon, you may end up deleting your Facebook account altogether!
That’s right folks. Much like choosing either Team Jacob or Team Edward in the Twilight world, Google is launching their own social network called Google+ project, which will compete with Facebook…and you’ll have to choose a side.
Here’s what Google’s VP of product management Bradley Horowitz had to say about their soon-to-be-released social network:
“In real life, we have walls and windows and I can speak to you knowing who’s in the room, but in the online world, you get to a ├óΓé¼╦£Share’ box and you share with the whole world.”
Google+ project will feature social circles (+Circles) which allow users to “selectively share with specific groups within their personal network, rather than sharing with all their social connections at once.”
Other features of Google+ project will include the ability to video chat in groups, display interests, share content on the go, and other options/features that are similar to Facebook and other pre-existing networks.
