Goop is encouraging people to be skinny again.
Or, at least that’s what it seems like after Gwyneth Paltrow‘s company tweeted a link to an interview with Traci Mann, Ph.D. about “why diets don’t work, the roll of willpower, and achieving your leanest livable weight.”
“Leanest livable weight”… like, how skinny you can be without dying?? Ugh.

Leanest livable weight????? WTF is wrong with you people?!

@goop – I achieved my leanest livable weight! All it took was a horrible blockage and an 8-day hospital stay, costing thousands (thanks, #crohnsdisease). Encourage women to nurture their healthiest livable body and mind, and stop sharing unsafe, dangerous messages of thinness! https://t.co/K4EFq4aBcE

Never have four words grouped together made me quite so furious as: “Your leanest livable weight” https://t.co/czst2R1Qzr
