Gossip Girl’s Ed Westwick has just signed on to Clint Eastwood’s J. Edgar as Agent Smith, a “clean cut operative with writing skill” who is conscripted by Hoover to write his biography.
Obviously, the process does not go 100% smoothly.
As we mentioned last month, Leonardo DiCaprio is attached to play J. Edgar, and The Social Network’s Armie Hammer will play Hoover’s assistant/secret lover Clyde Tolson.
We’re def intrigued by this film, and worse comes to worst, should be exciting to see some Leo/Armie lovin’!
