Can you guess who the most popular host is on Comedy Central?
It’s not
Jon Stewart. And it’s not
Stephen Colbert.
Nope, the winning prize goes to
Daniel Tosh, the host of
Tosh.0, which is a clip show, kind of like E!’s
Talk Soup, but for the Internet.
The show has reached 2.4 million viewers, which is the network’s
highest rated show since
Chappelle’s Show.
Kent Alterman, head of original programming at Comedy Central says, “It’s a show that came in under the radar and it’s a truly word-of-mouth kind of show. He hasn’t been written about that much. There’s really just one factor that stands out — the show is really funny.”
