R.I.P. Guitar Hero

Sad. We know a lot of people who wasted enjoyed a lot of hours rocking out with this game.
Activision Blizzard Inc. has announced they are ending the “Guitar Hero” franchise after a run of more than five years. Over the past year, the game has become an “unprofitable product” for the company, so they’ve opted to cut their losses.
The decision to end the franchise of musical video games will also mean a loss of about 500 jobs in its Activision Publishing business division.
Such a bummer.
Our condolences to all those who have lost their jobs and those who have lost their favorite past time.
