Another one bites the dust!
On Monday, Guy Pearce took to Twitter to confirm that he and his wife Kate were calling it quits after 18 years of marriage. In fact, the longtime loves split back in January!

He posted:
Rumours r true I’m afraid – Kate and I parted ways back in Jan. Sorry 2 be boring but we couldn’t be closer. We’ll love each other 4 ever xx

However, the Iron Man 3 actor acted like the most un-estranged husband ever by posting a series of touching photos of his former flame to the social media site.

Talk about a “conscious uncoupling.”
Who knows, maybe there’s hope these two will find a way back to each other?!
We’re certainly shocked by this split since the Emmy winner previously gushed about how his psychologist lady love kept him grounded.
He noted:
“People in Hollywood go, ‘So how long have you two been married?’ and we go, ‘Seventeen years’ and it’s like, ‘Oh ├óΓé¼┬ª my ├óΓé¼┬ª God! Really!’ and I’m like, ‘Yeah,’ and they’re like, ‘Wow!’ They find it astounding. Four years seems to be the Hollywood marriage.”
Well, it seems these two are definitely still the best of friends. After knowing each other 30+ plus years, how could they not be??
It’ll be inneresting to see what other details come forward now that the twosome are publicly single. We guess only time will tell!
