Wow, we’re going to hope that this rumor comes to fruition, because he’s literally the ONLY other person that we’d want to see in that role!
Sources are claiming that director Guy Ritchie, who is putting the finishing touches on the script of his sequel to Sherlock Holmes, is reaching out to none other than Daniel Day-Lewis to take on the role of villianous Professor Moriarty!
The character was seen briefly in the original as a shadowy figure. For a while, we were hearing rumblings that Brad Pitt was set to play him, but if Lewis is up for the part, then we’re not going to complain!
Every role he plays instantly becomes awesome!
