Not only did Gwyneth Paltrow confirm her engagement to Brad Falchuk earlier this month, but Chris Martin‘s relationship with Dakota Johnson has really started to blossom!

And thankfully for him, the Coldplay frontman definitely won’t have to worry about tip-toeing around the A-lister with his new beau!
A source spilled to Us Weekly that though Gwyn “doesn’t really know” the actress, “they do have some mutual friends.”
Plus, she has a really positive outlook on the new couple:
“Gwyneth is happy if Chris is happy. She only wants the best for him.”
It’s said Chris has yet to introduce Dakota to his and Gwyneth’s two kids, Apple and Moses, though:
“He doesn’t want to complicate things by bringing children into the mix.”
The Goop founder wouldn’t necessarily be worried if he did:
“She trusts his judgment and knows he’s smart about his decisions and who he spends time with. She leaves it at that. She doesn’t scrutinize his choices or who he dates.”
Which sounds like a fair play since the singer is seemingly accepting of her TV producer fianc├â┬⌐. After all, they had a “modern family” brunch together!
