Sometimes Hollywood can be a terrible place.
In the new issue of Elle, Gwyneth Paltrow reveals that she faced a lot of hurdles as a young actress, including once being offered a role in return for sex.
“When I was just starting out, someone suggested that we finish a meeting in the bedroom. I left. I was pretty shocked. I could see how someone who didn’t know better might worry, ‘My career will be ruined if I don├óΓé¼Γäót give this guy a blow job!'”
Fortunately, things took a turn for the better for Gwyneth, although she still isn’t satisfied with the opportunities for women in Hollywood.
“There├óΓé¼Γäós a lot that├óΓé¼Γäós okay, but there├óΓé¼Γäós little that’s really good, especially for someone my age. Sometimes you find out that something you really liked is going to someone 10 years younger. I find it heartening that Meryl Streep and Sandra Bullock have been able to find and create amazing projects.”
For all of you Hollywood creeps out there…quit and leave LA.
