Hailey Bieber WAS speaking up about Diddy in her latest post, according to an insider!
If you missed it, the model took to her Instagram Story on Monday to post a throwback photo of her hubby Justin Bieber flipping off paparazzi back in 2017. She captioned the pic, “mood.” Considering the timing — Justin has been in the headlines a lot amid Diddy’s sexual assault allegations and sex trafficking arrest — it seemed like this could have been the Rhode Beauty founder’s way of addressing the controversy. Well, sources are now doubling down on that interpretation!

On Tuesday, an insider told DailyMail.com that Hailey feels she needs to speak up on her partner’s behalf — especially since he’s stayed so silent through this crisis. The source dished:
“Hailey believes that she is Justin’s gatekeeper and this was her way of showing the world how she feels about the whole situation [with Diddy] — not Justin.”
Earlier this summer, there were rumors Hailey was making her man “miserable” due to her money habits, so that seems to be why they’re clarifying the cryptic message wasn’t flipping off the pop star. Obviously we wouldn’t think she’d choose a pic of Justin as her spirit animal to flip off Justin. LOLz!
But why did she choose that photo?? The insider pointed out:
“Out of the 100s of photos of Justin giving the middle finger, she had to choose one from 2017 that was taken before he got back together with [his ex Selena Gomez] again.”
Huh. Are they saying she didn’t want to pick one from when he was with Selly? It would be so petty of Hailey if she really used this particular pic for that reason, though! Right? Do YOU buy that she’d still hold that grudge?

While Hailey might think she’s doing the right thing by speaking out on her lover’s behalf, the source doesn’t think so! They concluded:
“Hailey needs to let Justin act for himself instead of using an image of him to convey what she feels he should be saying.”
Damn. Is that what’s going on? Is she trying to pressure him to speak out?? That would be harsh, especially since it doesn’t sound like JB is gonna be ready to talk anytime soon, the insider noted:
“But Justin really has no voice right now and it is sad.”
Oof. We really hate to hear that! But it’s not too surprising given all we’ve heard.
As Perezcious readers know, concerns for the Baby singer first started back in March when a resurfaced video of Puff and a teenage Justin talking about spending a wild 48 hours together went viral. Since then, there have been several more concerning videos that have reappeared online — and fans think the Biebz may have even hinted at the icky things Diddy allegedly got up to in his Yummy music video. To put it lightly, it’s all very unsettling stuff!
Despite the speculation, the new father has yet to speak out, and sources don’t think he will. A DailyMail.com confidant previously shared that the heartthrob was “disturbed by the Diddy news” and completely “shut off.” The source added:
“So many people who helped to make him who he is were very close to Diddy and it has completely thrown him.”
More recently, another source chimed in:
“Justin feels like there is no one that he can talk to that understands and, to be honest, he doesn’t even fully understand. He was a kid.”
The insider described him as being “stressed right now” as he tries to deal with this mess as well as adjusting to parenthood. With that in mind, as much as Hailey may have meant well with that “mood” post, it couldn’t have helped. Now, people are just more eager to hear from Justin. On the other hand, if she knows things we don’t, we get why she’d want to speak out! This must be so hard for them both!! We hope, at the very least, JB has a safe space where he can talk things out!
