Hailey Bieber is LOVING life as baby Jack‘s mom, but this new phase of her life also comes with a ton of new anxiety!
In Tuesday’s new edition of Interview, the model broke down the best — and scariest — parts of being a mother.
On the most “exciting” aspects of raising her first child, she shared:
“Just seeing this little human evolve before your eyes. They grow so fast and they change so much and there’s always so much excitement. You’re watching them experience life for the first time, so you kind of feel like you’re experiencing it that way with them.”
But in this day and age, with so much unrest and uncertainty, it’s also kinda nerve-racking. When asked if she ever worries “about what kind of world your kid is going to grow up in,” she candidly said:
“Every day. That’s probably the most anxiety I have as a parent. The world he’s growing up in is very, very scary and it feels so bleak, thinking about the future, with how things are going. But I just have to close my eyes and have faith. As long as he’s growing up in an environment at home that’s really loving and beautiful, that’s all that I can hope for.”

And yet, any anxiety about the future isn’t holding her back from growing her family with her hubby Justin:
“I definitely want more than one, but I’m taking it one at a time. Some days I want two. Some days I want five.”
Hah! They’ll be VERY busy parents if they go the latter route!

The Rhode founder also sweetly noted she’s living the life she dreamed about, reflecting:
“I always wanted to be married and have kids and a family from a super young age.”
And now she’s doing it! How lovely! We’re very happy motherhood has been off to a great start — and it sounds like she’s navigating the challenges that come with it with ease.
