As of right now, 32% of men and 35% of women are obese, but new research suggests that percentage could rise to 50% by 2030 if Americans do not adopt a healthier lifestyle.
“At the rate we’re looking at right now, it’s a dire prediction. Something has to change,” a study researcher told sources.
The increase in obesity isn’t helping our staggering economy either. The 6.8 million cases of stroke and heart disease, 7.8 million cases of diabetes and 539,000 cases of cancer as a result could cost an extra $66 billion to the nation’s healthcare bill!
Don’t be a part of the problem! Get out, get moving, and eat right!
