Bret Michaels wants to take over for Simon Cowell on American Idol.
Needless to say, we’re not thrilled he is vying for our job. More so, we’re not ecstatic that Simon thinks he would be a good fit!
Upon exiting his 9-year long career with the show, the number one question everyone is asking Simon is whose butt is going to warm his chair once he leaves. Last night, the top contender in his mind was Bret! Simon said:
“Actually, he’d be good. He’s funny. He’s got experience. He’d be a good choice — and you saw the audience reaction to him. They love him.”
Boo! No! Sympathy vote! Not fair!
Of course, Bret wants the gig. He’d be stoopid not too! He told reporters:
“That’s what I’m saying! Let’s just say that I was to slip into Simon’s chair. I’m sorry he has to go but sometimes things happen. Provided my health holds up, I think I’m taking that chair next year!”
Ugh! No! Stop beating around the bush people. There is only one to feel the void and it’s US!
