On Tuesday, Brazilian fashion mag Finissimo celebrated what they declared as the Dia Nacional da Roupa de Baixo or National Underwear Day.
The holiday was established back in 2006 and has been celebrated ever since. Maria Thereza Laudares, style consultant for the glossy, explains the anti-clothing day:
“The aim of the National Underwear Day is to make people recognize the importance of these garments left unseen, but which are the first to be put on and the last to be taken off.”
Well said, Maria!
Luckily, Brazil is full of gorgeous bodies so it was quite the feast for the eyes.
