Star Wars: The Force Awakens Producers Facing Criminal Charges Over Harrison Ford's Broken Leg!

no title
Remember when Harrison Ford broke his leg on the set of Star Wars: The Force Awakens?
Well, Han Solo may have gotten back on his feet at light speed, but that little mishap could end up spelling big trouble for one of the production company Foodles Production Ltd.
Britain’s Health and Safety Executive, or HSE, announced on Thursday that they ARE going to prosecute Foodles over four breaches of health and safety law.

The accident, which occurred in June 2014 at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, England, left Ford seriously injured and ultimately needing surgery. HSE released a statement saying:

“By law, employers must take reasonable steps to protect workers — this is as true on a film set as a factory floor.”

It goes on to say:

“We have investigated thoroughly and believe that we have sufficient evidence to bring the case to court.”

Representatives from the company are expected to appear in court on May 12 in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, to face their charges.
Ford has spoken a few times times about the accident including an over the top reenactment with a doll on The Tonight Show.
While we don’t know the details of the accident and how it could have been prevented, we sure are curious to learn how Han Solo was brought down by his own ship!
