Lameballs!
Back in August, we were excited to announce that Ridley Scott had signed on to direct a follow up to his 1982 sci-fi classic Blade Runner.
Now, we’re hearing that the film is still happening…but without Harrison Ford.
When asked about the project during a recent interview, Scott had the following to say:
“[It’s moving forward, but] not with the past cast, of course.”
And here’s Scott on whether or not Harrison’s character Rick Deckard will be in the film:
“No, not really.”
Hmm…that’s not QUITE a definitive “no.” Is it possible that Harrison could make a tiny, eensy-weensy appearance???
Normally, we wouldn’t push so hard for this because we’d be too focused on maintaining the integrity of the original film…but Ridley Scott is directing! We’re inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt.
What do U think? Do U approve of a Harrison Ford-less Blade Runner film???
