Sorry, One Direction fans, but the band members will not be reuniting for Harry Styles‘ wedding.
Harry and Zoë Kravitz got engaged earlier this year and are reportedly already planning for a private winter wedding in the UK. Fun! But when we say private, we really mean it, because they do NOT want any unnecessary celebs in attendance — even if that means snubbing some of Harry’s oldest friends!

Sources told Rob Shuter‘s Naughty But Nice Substack on Monday that the ceremony will not include a One Direction reunion. An insider explained:
“Harry doesn’t want a One Direction reunion stealing attention from his wedding. This day is about him and Zoë, not nostalgia.”
On one hand, we get it. But also… Are they feuding!?
Niall Horan went viral last month when saying during a radio station interview that he was “too busy” to attend the wedding, seemingly referencing the Watermelon Sugar crooner’s ceremony (though he didn’t name him directly). Despite that, a confidant insists there’s no trouble behind the scenes:
“There’s no feud. But they’re simply not close anymore. The friendship faded as their lives moved in different directions.”
Harry’s worked hard to create a new life for himself, removed from the hype of his 1D days, sources claim, which includes focusing now on his solo career, acting, a small group of friends, and his private romance. A music source dished:
“Harry’s world is much smaller now. He and Zoë value privacy, authenticity, and real connections over spectacle.”
It’s likely not just Niall, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik who won’t be invited. Harry and Zoë don’t want this to be a major celeb event, another insider shared:
“This isn’t a pop-culture moment. It’s a wedding. Harry wants the people who are part of his life today, not the people who remind everyone of who he used to be.”
Oof.
Just breaking the hearts of Directioners who are still not over the fact they aren’t a band anymore! But TBH, the couple hasn’t seemed to like any media attention when it comes to the proposal, so the fact they’re going an intimate, private route isn’t shocking. It’s still sad to think the 1D boys aren’t that close anymore, though!
