We’re extremely saddened by this news, but also thankful she’s getting the help she needs right now.
As we reported on Tuesday, Hayden Panettiere is currently in treatment for her postpartum depression she began experiencing after giving birth to daughter Kaya Evdokia last December.
Well, it looks like the 26-year-old actress is taking her rehabilitation very seriously because it was revealed on Wednesday that Hayden will be taking a medical leave from her ABC series Nashville to heal.

The musical drama just started its fourth season on September 23, but Hayden will be taking a break from portraying Juliette Barnes opposite Connie Britton for an undetermined number of episodes.
Interestingly enough, Hayden’s pregnancy with husband Wladimir Klitschko was written into season three of the country music show, and her character is currently going through postpartum as well.
