He Fu*Ked With The Tax Man and Got Burned!

Race-car driver and former Dancing with the Stars champ, Helio Castroneves is in some legal troubles.

Castroneves was indicted today, Thursday, in Miami for allegedly not paying taxes on more than $5 million!

M-O-R-O-N.

Castroneves and two others have been accused of using “an offshore Panamanian shell corporation Seven Promotions to conceal and disguise the true and correct amount of Helio Castroneves’ income from the Internal Revenue Service.”

Shady!!!

Helio, his sister, Katiucia Castroneves, and his lawyer, Alan Miller, were all indicted.

They were all charged with Conspiracy to Defraud the U.S. and Tax Evasion “for the purpose of impeding, impairing, obstructing, and defeating the lawful government functions of the Internal Revenue Service.”

The trio is accused of trying to conceal Helio’s income.

One of the charges is that Helio received $2 million in salary from a Brazilian trading company. But they made it appear that he only got $200,000.

Oops, guess they “accidentally” left off a zero.

As for the consequences, Conspiracy and Tax Evasion charges are each punishable by a maximum of five years in federal prison.

Jail time might be in their future!!!
